Equipment
After a brief dalliance with Nikon full-frame equipment whilst at university, I shoot exclusively with Fujifilm X series cameras. An X100V and an X-T3 with a small range of Fujifilm lenses. I particularly like the color rendering of Fuji images, when edited using Capture One sofware.
The images are as good, if not better than I made with Nikon full-frame equipment, from a smaller, lighter system
I am Paul Burgess ARPS, I'm a professional photographer and photography teacher living and working in Sevenoaks, Kent
My major project currently is "Sevenoaks at Work", documenting the people who work in Sevenoaks and keep the town buzzing
When I'm not doing professional work or working on my personal projects, I enjoy teaching other people how to take better pictures and have been running photography workshops and courses for more than 5 years.
In that time I have taught more than 300 people how to use their cameras to "see the world differently". I have also taught photography at North Kent College to students aged 16-18 of varying educational needs.
I currently offer a range of online evening classes, face-to-face workshops and 121 coaching through my f32.co.uk website
Education:
I have a first-class BA honours degree in photography from the University of Kent
